Questions people ask
- How many photos do I need?
- A handful is plenty — three or four clear shots of their face from different angles gives us more than enough to work from. More photos help, but nobody needs a professional set.
- Will it actually look like my pet?
- That's the part we built the product around. We generate one canonical portrait of your pet first, you approve it, and every page in the book is then illustrated from that same portrait — so the markings and the face stay consistent from the first page to the last.
- Can I read it before I pay?
- Yes. The whole book is generated and readable before any payment — you see every page and every illustration first. Ordering the printed hardcover is a separate decision you make afterwards.
- What happens to my photos?
- They're used to illustrate your book and nothing else. We don't sell personal information, and you can delete your account and its contents at any time. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
- Is this just a photo album?
- No — there are no photographs in the finished book. It's a written and illustrated story with your pet as the main character, which is why people tend to re-read it rather than shelve it.
Their story is worth telling properly.
There's no deadline here and nothing expires. Make the book when you're ready, read it as many times as you like, and print it only if you want to.
